 The mission of the Ty Cobb Museum is to foster education and understanding to the broadest possible audience of the greatest baseball hitter of all time, Tyrus Raymond Cobb. This is done by collecting, preserving, exhibiting, and interpreting artifacts related to Cobb for a local, regional, and national audience. The museum provides art and memorabilia, film, video, books and historical archives allowing the legendary "Georgia Peach" to live on.
